Property Administrator - Commercial (Part-time)

We work with a growing commercial real estate team that is looking for a dependable Property Administrator to support daily operations across a portfolio of commercial properties. This role is well-suited for someone who is highly organized, detail-focused, and comfortable juggling administrative, financial, and tenant-facing tasks in a fast-moving environment. This is a part-time role with a very flexible schedule of 20-25 hours per week. Salary is dependent on experience and will be $60-65k. It is fully in office in Rockville, MD. This is a temp-to-hire or direct hire role for the right candidate.

What You'll Do

  • Provide general administrative support to property management personnel
  • Maintain property records including leases, contracts, insurance, and vendor files
  • Serve as a first point of contact for tenant questions, requests, and service issues
  • Prepare and distribute routine tenant communications and notices
  • Assist with invoice processing, rent billing, collections support, and expense tracking
  • Help keep lease information accurate and current, including key dates and renewals
  • Support vendor coordination, contract tracking, and compliance documentation
  • Assist with reporting, budgeting support, and other operational projects as needed

What We're Looking For

  • Prior experience in commercial real estate, property management, or a related administrative role
  • Basic understanding of leases, property operations, and financial processes
  • Comfort working with spreadsheets, documents, and property management systems
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Professional communication style and customer-service mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks independently while working as part of a team
